Sales

Your sales are important and as we handle and process all sales on your behalf, a small commission of 10% is charged per sale. We provide this to irradicate the inconvenience of cash handling or card processing for artists, or the need for a permanent presence by the artist at the exhibition stand. Sales will be monitored through an inventory system. Artists will recieve full payment from cash payments same day and from card/cheque payments within 14 days.

Image Guidelines

Your submission should include a small sample of your intended portfolio, for which we reserve the right to reject applications deemed unsuitable or too explicit in the spirit of a family event. Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email upon full payment. You will need to supply four to six images of your work.
Please ensure that you have submitted your images in the correct size and format. Images not correctly formatted may not be able to be viewed or used for subsequent press and publicity.

Images should be sent at the time of registration
Each image should be clearly labelled with your name and contact details
Images can be sent via email:

Digital images should be submitted in at least 300 dpi to ensure a good quality catalogue print and should be saved as JPEG files.

Exhibitors should be sure to submit the highest quality promotional images of their work to improve their chances of being included in press coverage associated with the event. Remember: quality of images is often a reason why good artists and makers don’t get selected.

Costs

The organisors recognise that participation in an event can be difficult to finance, particularly at the early career stage. This is why we make every effort to keep our exhibition space prices as low as possible.
The event will feature a variety of exhibiting spaces, the advertised fee for exhibiting at the event is based on the stand space of a little over 7m sq. Exhibitors may choose to share a space and share the cost of the space. The organisors can assist in finding a partner for those applying for shared exhibit.
(note: stand fees are non-refundable, in the event the organisors are required to cancel the exhibition, all fees paid will be fully refunded).

Exhibition Space

We offer two space types, the first (for 2D) is a covered frame with facing suitable for hanging canvases and similar.

The frame will be free standing with the viewer able to walk around and view work on both sides. These 'columns' as we term them shall be staggered throughout the area in a way that allows viewers to walk between them.

In addition, (for 3D works) space can be provided for those who exhibit jewellrey & sculpture or similar works of art. The footprint of the cabinet or shelf system you supply should not exceed 3mx1m, so size details must be submitted with your registration if this is likely to pose any concerns.

The area will be lit with a stage lighting array; the lighting of the centre is adequately suitable for viewing purposes in all cases.

Mains electric can be fitted to your stand should it be required (pricing TBC) upon request.

Facias for your stand will exhibit your specified details, please note however that due to the organic nature of the layout stand numbers will not be in use.

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that they provide liabilty cover for themselves for the duration of the event.

Tables are not acceptable at the venue; vendor details should be presented using suitable promo holders that can be fixed to your stand.

Additional Requirements

If for any reason you feel that you may have a need for additional requirements such as wheelchair space, please do let us know and we shall handle all of the necessary arrangements to ensure that you are comfortable during the event.
